About Me
Hi my name is Gillian, I have been making things from as far back as I can remember. Spending time with my grandmother as she made delicious treats in her farm kitchen bakery. I have been knitting and sewing for many years and as the seasons change and the weather gets cooler, there is always a blanket or pair of socks on the go.
Pottery has always been a wish to learn. After many years as a teacher, I decided to jump in and get muddy. Sessions at my community studio gave me time to learn skills and meet lovely people in this new community. Each day is different. I enjoy experimenting with colours and shapes and creating. Sometimes a plan works and sometimes the clay has other plans.
